New kid on the block
This year me, Jake and Noah have been very excited about the month December, not because we could put our tree up and buy lots of gifts for each other, but because we were expecting our second little baby. A beautiful baby girl.
On Tuesday December 11th at 11.07pm after quite a lot of hard work, Isla Mae McKenna decided to arrive :)
She weighed in at 7lb 3oz with lots of dark hair just like her big brother had.
Isla is now nearly 3 week old and is settling in very well at home. Although non of us are too keen on her sleeping patterns, LOTS of sleepless nights already! Noah has been great so far with Isla, giving her lots of kisses and cuddles...but im sure they will have plenty of arguments in the future.
At 2 week old we went to see the midwife to get Isla weighed. We couldn't believe it when we got told she had put weight on and was now 8lbs! She is doing great, the only sad thing is she is already out of the clothes she wore in the hospital as they are too small. Which means Isla is growing way too quickly for my liking. Soon she will be running around with Noah and I will have to little kiddies to chase after.
We all love having our new addition and Isla is the best christmas present we could have recieved. She is loved very much by all 3 of us and the rest of our family.
Unfortunately I cant add any cutey pictures on today because the wire for my camera is in the car, but there will be plenty added shortly :)
