Jolly Holidays
We recently returned from our family holiday to Majorca! It was quite a last minute thing and we had decided to go due to the fact that we probably won't get to go abroad again for a good few years with having another baby!
Noah was great on the plane and luckily he wasn't the screaming baby, pheeww.
The Weather was amazing and if i wasn't pregnant i would of definately spent a lot of time topping my tan up but i didnt want to over heat or anything so i took it easy!
We did have a major drama while away but who doesn't when they go on holiday? The original hotel we booked was an absolute dive!! When our bus rolled up outside the hotel i could tell straight away we were gonna have a few issues, we had read some peoples reviews on trip advisor AFTER we had booked the holiday and a lot of people were complaining, but we thought it would be ok because we were on holiday and knew we wouldnt have to spend a lot of time there. We were VERY wrong!
We had requested a cot in our room for Noah and we got a crib which he could literally hop over so we had to move our bed right next to the crib so that Noah wouldn't fall out and crack his head open, which meant on the first night Jake kept getting woken up by Noah smacking him on his head (hehe)
We didnt even have a fridge which i thought would be an obvious thing to have in a room when you are only on a bed and breakfast board basis? with it being so hot our drinks would be warm within 10 minutes of getting them so imagine what Noahs milk was like after a whole night of being out of the fridge? Anyway as well as this there were blood marks on the shower curtains, stains in the bath, you couldnt swing a cat in the bathroom it was that small!
I won't rant on for ages about this hotel but it wouldnt even be a hostel over here in the UK!
We ended up moving hotels on the second day of our holiday because even Jake was complaining non stop about it and it was ruining our time on Holiday.
After the hotel move (the hotel was amazing and it was only a 3* the same rating as the hotel we were originally in!) we had a lot more fun! the pool was great and Noah loved going in with his daddy throwing him up and down into the water! Me not being a swimming lover just enjoyed pacing about in the pool getting cooled down!
The beach was gorgeous and the sea was so clear! Nothing like the beaches over here!
I think i have rambled on enough now so i will just put all of our pictures on here to see what we got up to :)
